Our Commitment

When it comes to quality and flavour, we know that local tastes best. In the Republic of Ireland we buy over €700 million worth of goods annually and work with over 200 of Ireland’s most dedicated local suppliers and farming families, all so that we can bring you the most delicious, flavour-packed, local produce we can find.

Our local suppliers supply to over 26 Lidl countries right across Europe, giving them the opportunity to grow their businesses and provide employment in their local communities. Many of our suppliers have been working with us since we first opened our doors back in 2000 and have grown with us.

We realise the importance of provenance and loyalty and ensure that quality is always our top priority. Each of our suppliers are BRC certified and undergo frequent audits throughout the year.
